Inside Sales Representative
Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Reports To: Inside Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Inside sales
Summary: Focuses telephone customer service, electronic order entry, sales tracking,
onsite customer interaction, material purchasing/marketing, and assists in counter sales.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Greets walk-ins both contractors and homeowners*
2. Makes sales over the telephone and takes orders.*
3. Performs order entry*
4. Updates assigned customers with all pertinent market information*
5. Performs some onsite customer interaction*
6. Responsible for inventory/pricing/marketing of materials*
7. Contributes to counter sales and order taking.*
8. Performs customer service duties by providing necessary information.*
9. Interfaces with the warehouse and dispatch to provide quality customer service.*
10. Assists in light clean up, and sample and literature stocking

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; email software; spreadsheet software; inventory software and database software.
